National Snaffle Bit Association is pleased to announce that Aaron Moses, of Pilot Point, Texas has become its newest member to achieve one million dollars in lifetime NSBA earnings. Aaron reached the milestone after winning the $10,000 Added dac® $2,500 Limited Novice Horse Open Western Pleasure at the Back To Berrien Futurity in Berrien Springs, Michigan, in June.
He becomes the fifth rider to reach one million dollars in earnings and the youngest rider to do so, joining professional trainers Gil Galyean, Rusty Green, Jay Starnes and Katy Jo Zuidema.
Aaron grew up in Saco, Maine, and although he was not raised in a horse family, he had a passion for horses the stemmed from his early childhood memories of the cowboys he saw when his family had been in Colorado. Aaron began his horse journey at Maine AQHA trainer Al Dube’s barn. He later went to work for Gil Galyean, and stayed with his training program for nearly eight years before starting Aaron Moses Show Horses in 2017. Aaron was inducted into the NSBA Quarter Million Dollar Club in 2020.
