FORT WORTH – The National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) is excited to announce this innovative addition that expands the sport of cutting to miniature horse enthusiasts and brings a fresh level of competition to the NCHA’s weekend events.
The Miniature Horse Cutting Class will follow traditional cutting horse competition rules, showcasing the agility, intelligence, and cow sense of miniature horses in an arena setting. Riders will have the opportunity to demonstrate their horses’ natural ability to separate a cow from the herd and maintain control, just as their full-sized counterparts do in standard NCHA classes.
This new class will be available at select NCHA-sanctioned weekend events across the country, giving competitors of all ages and experience levels an opportunity to get involved.
The addition of the Miniature Horse Cutting Class aligns with NCHA’s mission to promote and preserve the sport of cutting while making it more inclusive and accessible.
