Filed under: Club & Show News,Club and Show News,Sponsor News |

National Snaffle Bit Association (NSBA) Foundation announces the departure of Lynn Campbell, who will conclude her service at the end of 2025 after ten years of impactful leadership and development work. Lynn, of Pittsboro, Indiana, has served the Foundation since 2015, contributing significantly to its growth, visibility and organizational strength.

A Decade of Impact

Lynn joined the NSBA Foundation in March 2015 as a part-time independent contractor, bringing with her a wealth of experience from the equine industry and nonprofit education and development sectors. Her long-time involvement with NSBA—including serving on the NSBA board of directors and chairing the Longe Line Committee—made her uniquely suited for the role.

During her tenure, Lynn identified and implemented foundational operating standards and helped grow and organize the Foundation’s structure, including developing board recruitment and retention practices and supporting the establishment of the Foundation’s five pillars of work. She introduced countless members, partners and supporters to the Foundation’s mission and programs.

Professional Experience and Equine Roots

A native of Crookston, Minnesota, Lynn grew up immersed in the horse community, showing locally before competing at Appaloosa and AQHA events.

Her professional background in agricultural education, nonprofit development and commodity risk management further strengthened her ability to help grow the Foundation. Even while maintaining a full-time consulting business, she dedicated time, expertise and personal resources to NSBA’s mission.

Under her guidance, the Foundation expanded programs such as Equestrians With Disabilities, Heroes On Horses, and scholarships, the Coaches Summit, and Tomorrows Horsemen, helping the organization meet the evolving needs of the equine community. Lynn also developed creative fundraising initiatives, including expanding the Foundation’s annual auction and donor engagement strategies.

Lynn’s contributions were recognized in 2022 when she received NSBA’s prestigious Jack Benson Service Award.

In 2024, she transitioned into a full-time role with NSBA, shifting her focus toward donor development, collaboration and relationship building. Her strong ties within the agriculture sector and equine community expanded the Foundation’s network of supporters and corporate partners.

A Lasting Legacy

Lynn leaves the NSBA Foundation with a strengthened organizational structure and an engaged, diverse board of directors well positioned to advance the mission of enhancing the well-being of the show horse community through charitable programs that benefit horses, horse people and the relationships they create.

The NSBA Foundation extends its heartfelt gratitude to Lynn for her dedication, leadership and lasting contributions. We congratulate her on ten years of service and wish her every success as she pursues new endeavors.
