2025 Congress Open Versatility Teams

The American Quarter Horse is one of the oldest recognized breeds in the United States, and with over 6 million registered, it is the world’s most popular. This is in part due to the versatility that the Quarter Horse possesses. From ranch work to the show arena, the American Quarter Horse has the ability to shine in any discipline.
Tonight, 13 teams will showcase this range of ability! The versatility made its grand return to the Congress in 2023, due in part to our generous presenting sponsor, Gerri Leigh Pratt! Gerri Leigh is a longtime supporter and friend of the Congress and a multi-time Congress Champion herself, and we are excited to welcome Gerri Leigh to this year’s event!
These 13 teams will be riding for over $10,000 in cash and the Blue Ribbon custom saddle.
Background of the event:
- Teams of 1 horse, up to 2 riders, and 2 grooms
- 5 minute changes in between each class
- Classes include Hunter Under Saddle, Western Pleasure, Ranch Riding, and Pole Bending
