AQHA Hall of Fame Induction & Reunion Celebration Returns to Amarillo

The 2022 American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame Induction & Reunion Celebration returns to the American Quarter Horse Association and American Quarter Horse Foundation Headquarters in Amarillo, Texas. The celebration is slated for September 16 and 17. Through a multi-day celebration, rich with events honoring previous and current inductees, the occasion will center on the memories of the people and horses who blazed the trail in our industry and the long-steeped history of the American Quarter Horse.

Chuck Smith, a lifetime OQHA Director and a past NCHA President and Hall of Fame member will continue to produce and direct the cutting as he has done for the last 29 years. Smith says, “Moving the Congress cutting to Springfield will allow the cutting to grow at its own pace into the future. The cutting will continue to remain a cornerstone of the Congress mission, which is to showcase the outstanding versatility of the Quarter Horse.”
