This year’s auction will begin on December 6, 2019 and end on December 9, 2019 at 8:00 p.m. EST. The auction is exclusively online and will feature breeding services from outstanding Appaloosa Stallions and approved outcrosses.

Continue reading …Owners and exhibitors can view the 2020 point ranges and compare their show record for an approximation of the levels they will be eligible for in the 2020 show season. The online level verification system, which allows exhibitors and horse owners to look up their class-by-class level eligibility, will be updated toward the end of 2020. Points are tabulated from November 1 through October 31 in accordance with SHW250 so that level eligibility will be available for shows starting in January.

Nominees are Kelly Boles-Chapman of Bellevue, Michigan, Lee Ann Hall of Kilkivan, Australia, and Sandy Jirkovsky of Whitesboro, Texas. They will be considered by the APHA Board of Directors for the positions at the 2020 APHA Convention, February 28-March 1 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Continue reading …“Truthfully, I didn’t set out to win the Amateur All Around award either year,” Angela says. “But, I’m lucky enough that he’s pretty good at several of the classes we compete in, so that’s always part of the goal. After last year, I really wanted to start Horsemanship, because I didn’t do that last year. Also, I wanted to get even better at the individual classes we compete in together. So, the All Around award is just an amazing bonus.”
