If you notice a similarity between the two names at the top of the results sheet for 2-Year-Old Hunter Under Saddle today at the APHA World Show that’s no mistake. Both the World Champion, All Good, ridden by Beth Case, and the Reserve World Champion, All Me, ridden by Sonnesa Gooding, are by the same stallion, All Time Fancy. They both definitely take after their father with big white blazes, high white socks, sweepy trot, and powerful canter.

One of this year’s most important achievements was the validation of a dual-tracer scanning protocol, which allows for the assessment of both bone and soft tissue lesions in lame horses. This protocol has now been used on several clinical cases and has been utilized to assess complex lesions involving the foot and the suspensory ligament. (Figure 1)

The winner of the Green Hunter Under Saddle was Lucky To Sleep, owned and shown by Amy Bucholtz. They earned $560 plus the Champion buckle, sponsored by Sales Paddock App. Amy also won an additional $250 bonus payout for being the highest placing non pro and WQHA member, sponsored by the Wisconsin Amateur Quarter Horse Association.
