2014 Buckeye Classic Update

Earlier this week, we shared an update and results from the 2014 Little Buckeye that kicked off a six-day super event in Sunbury, Ohio. Now, the Buckeye Classic is well underway and showing entry numbers that rival those of the first weekend.

Just yesterday, horsemanship competitors showed up in droves with 44 entries in Level 1 Amateur, 15 entries in Select, and a whopping 51 entries in Amateur. The huge classes can be partially attributed to the fact that every AQHA amateur, level 1 amateur, and select amateur class will be FREE during the show thanks to generous sponsors such as Royal Wire, Fritz Leeman Farm, The Martz Family, BWHA, and OAQHA.

On the show off day, many competitors attended the Buckeye Open Charity Golf Outing where over $5,000 was raised for the OQHA Scholarship Fund.
