The Western Pleasure Super Sires Program is excited to announce the dates for the 2016 event to be held again in conjunction with the Tom Powers Triple Challenge Futurity. The Tom Powers event will be held from June 29th through July 3rd at the Berrien County Youth Fairgrounds in Berrien Springs, Michigan. The Western Pleasure Super Sires classes will take place July 1st and 2nd.

WPSS has paid out over $219,000 in just three years and in 2016 is looking to add even more incentive for owners of WPSS foals! The WPSS Executive Committee is very happy to announce that WPSS is adding a Non-Pro Yearling Longe-Line class to their list for this year. This class will have a guaranteed $5,000 to first place and will take place on July 1st, 2016. With the addition of this class, the WPSS Executive Committee feels it will increase interest in the program as well as for the program sires while adding more opportunities for nominated foals.

WPSS will again be paying $10,000 to first place in the Limited Non-Pro and Open Non-Pro Three-Year-Old Western Pleasure classes. Last year, Clarissa Edgerton (Limited Non-Pro) and Megan Hawkins (Non-Pro) each received a $10,000 check! Who will the checks be written to this year? The WPSS Three-Year-Old classes will take place on July 2nd, 2016.

To find out if your foal is eligible and to make necessary nominations before the 2016 April 30th deadline, please visit www.westernpleasuresupersires.com.
