Chris Arentsen Quarter Horses, Inc. is thrilled to announce the purchase of 2013 AQHA stallion, Solaris, by Karry Voss of Voss Farms. The impressive, bay, Halter stallion is by the World Champion, Sirprizerized, and out of the World Champion, Coolestshowgirlintown.

Solaris was the winner of Open 2-Year-Old Stallions at the 2015 AQHA World Championship Show with Luke Castle at the lead. Since entering the breeding shed, Solaris has produced multiple World and Congress Champions, most recently the Open and Amateur Grand Champion Gelding at the All American Quarter Horse Congress this year, Solair, owned by Dan Fox. Solaris is also the sire of another Fox-owned World Champion, CR Peacemaker.

“I would like to thank Silver Spurs Equine for giving us to the opportunity to purchase Solaris,” Karry Voss says. “Also, a special thank you to Luke Castle for his professionalism during this transaction. Voss Farms and CAQH, Inc. are excited to offer Solaris to the public for the 2022 breeding season for a $1,000 stud fee, payable when the foal stands and nurses.”

Chris Arentsen confirms that this project has been in the works for quite some time, and he’s looking forward to standing the stallion at his facility in Trenton, Illinois in 2022. “He will be joining Voss Farms’ other stallions, World Champion producers Secret Gunfighter and Cool In Color. This stallion is gorgeous, very well-balanced, and sound conformation-wise. I think he’s a great breeding horse that just hasn’t had a chance yet.”

Congratulations to Voss Farms and Chris Arentsen on this exciting acquisition.
