Competitors and spectators traveling to Oklahoma City for the National Reining Horse Association Derby are cautioned to check for temporary road closures prior to departing.  Show office will still open at noon on Thursday, June 18, 2015.

Oklahoma City, Okla., June 18, 2015 – Oklahoma had a rough evening last night with Tropical Storm Bill making its way from Houston, then Dallas, and then north through Oklahoma City and completing its track towards Tulsa and Missouri.  All competitors and spectators planning to travel to Oklahoma City for the 2015 NRHA Derby are asked to please check local conditions and updated alerts from the Oklahoma Department of Transportation prior to making the journey.  An up to date map of road closures in the state of Oklahoma is constantly available online.

NRHA is excited for everyone to come and experience this world-class event, but NRHA asks all to please take necessary precautions traveling to Oklahoma City.  Turn around, don’t drown.
