Paid Parking Coming to OKC State Fair Park in 2019
According to Oklahoma News Channel 4, paid parking will be coming to the Oklahoma State Fair Park in 2019. Home of the AQHA Youth World Championship Show, AQHA Open/Amateur World Championship Show, Redbud Spectacular, L1 Championship Central, NRHA Futurity, and countless other equine events, the State Fair Park is a frequent stop on many an equestrian’s calendar.
Beginning in 2019, all paved parking spots will be paid. Unpaved spots will remain free. It is not known at this time what the charge will be for parking. Other upgrades will include increased security, more lighting, and buses for transportation.
