They added another notch to Highpoint Performance Horses’ belt with this being the 13th time a horse under the guidance of Jason Martin and Charlie Cole has won the Senior Western Riding at the World Show, in a row.

“They’ve been there for me every step of the way. There have been ups and downs, and they’ve been there for me.”

According to Joy, she’s the only person in the family who hasn’t won with this mare. Today was her last chance, because the mare has been sold to Terry Bradshaw, who will take possession of “Diva” at the conclusion of the World Show.

“She’s never gotten out of balance,” he says. “She’s really grown that way. We’ve been blessed with her.”

Making this win extra special is the fact that “Hazel” is only three years old! Earlier this year, she won Junior Western Riding and the BCF Limited 3-Year-Old Western Pleasure at the NSBA World Show in addition to L1 Western Riding at the Quarter Horse Congress.
