
For the fifth year in a row, “Bella” has consecutively held the top spot, with “Jack” remaining a close runner up in second place. “Charlie” moved up to third, which in return bumped “Buddy” to fourth. “Annie” made a move, hitting seventh place, which is the highest position for that name since entering the top ten lists back in 2013.

APHA worked closely with the National Snaffle Bit Association to complete the new hunter under saddle portion of the educational and highly interactive program. The joint effort includes more than thirty gait examples with professional explanation as well as two four-horse classes placed with explanation, and much more.

The 2017 Florida Gold Coast wrapped up the New Year in spectacular fashion with more than 11,000 total entries, according to show management team, An Equine Production. The final tally shows more than 8,300 AQHA entries were recorded, which is an increase of 450 over 2016.

How AQHA Levels Work-
AQHA divisions – youth, amateur and open – are divided into levels. The levels – Rookie, Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 – are formulated from an objective handicapping system that assigns exhibitors and horses to competition levels.
