According to a release sent out by Hooved Animal Rescue and Protection (HARPS), the owner of the horses was once a leading AQHA breeder that achieved many National Champion halter titles at horse shows across the country. After the unfortunate death of both her husband and daughter, she lost the family farm in Harvard, IL in 2012.
