Trotter, who has served as an AQHA director for 11 years, is the CEO of Livestock Investors LLT and owns Bar G Feedyard. His involvement in the American Quarter Horse industry is focused on racing, roping and horses used for ranch work and breeding. He is an avid team roper and participates in numerous ropings, including the World Series of Team Roping.

The Oklahoma City Leading Owner Award is given to the ownership that earns the most points at the AQHA World Show. To be eligible for the award, at least three horses must be entered, shown and in the same ownership. Vernon Habighorst of Phoenix, was named the 2014 Oklahoma City Leading Owner. Habighorst had nine horses qualified and earned a total of 122 points, competing in 18 classes during this year’s show.

Just like his mother before him, the chestnut gelding named How Bout At Midnight has won a World Champion title in 2-Year-Old Western Pleasure at the 2014 AQHA World Championship Show with Gil Galyean in the saddle. Galyean presented “Jack” on behalf of owner Fritz Leeman, who happens to own both Jack’s sire and dam.

First, Todd Grant led the massive bay stallion named Inspirado to a win in Performance Halter Stallions for owner Angie Watts Schmeck. “Pedro” is by De Renzo and out of MBJ Mini Obvious. One interesting fact about this multi-talented horse is that Pedro obtains his required performance points by regularly competing in timed events like barrel racing and poles.
