NRHA will be selecting four out of the ten riders from social media to participate in this exciting spectator sport! A contest based on popular vote will be held to determine the riders. Premier Quarter Sires Program Pays Out $146,150 in First Year

In the first year of the program, Premier Quarter Sires payed out $146,150 to lucky competitors.

The stallion’s offspring that received the largest chunk of the monies was Allocate Your Assets with $21,225. Allocate Your Assets also had the highest number of offspring that received monies (seven) including Alonzo Mourning, Im All In Your Face, Allfor Company Assets, Anonymous Ally, Al be Jamun, Me and My Assets, and Pocket Fulla Assets.

New Technique to Treat Kissing Spine in Horses

“It’s normal for horses to show significant postoperative pain following conventional open surgery of the dorsal spinous process. However, with this relatively new technique, postoperative pain is unusual, horses are discharged the following day with oral antibiotics and the recovery time is much faster,” Dr Bladon said.
