Northern Michigan QH Show Sees Entries More Than Double From Last Year

Under the guidance of new show management team, An Equine Production, the Northern Michigan Quarter Horse Show saw huge growth this year more than doubling their entries over the 2019 event. Judging the July 24-26 show in Midland, MI. were Amber Clark, Tracy Willis, and Kelley Stone-Wainscott.

Check out these numbers from some of the largest classes, which were seen in the youth and rookie divisions.

  • L1 Amateur Showmanship- 15
  • 14-18 Showmanship- 17
  • Rookie Youth Hunter Under Saddle- 19
  • Rookie Youth Horsemanship- 19

Congratulations to the High Point Champions at the Level 1 Show on Friday. The Small Fry winner was The Only Deal with Elizabeth Laney. The Rookie Youth Champion was One Black Krymsun with Dara Stiles. The Level 1 Youth 13 & Under winner was Exclusively Mocca with Kayla Virga. The Level 1 Youth 14-18 winner was One Black Krymsun with Dara Stiles. The Rookie Amateur Champion was Sleepin In The Snow with Rebecca Eno. The Level 1 Amateur winner was Done Make A Scene with Lainey Zwerk.

During the weekend show, the High Point winners were as follows. The Small Fry Champion was The Only Deal with Elizabeth Laney. The Rookie Youth Champion was Exclusively Mocha and Kayla Virga. The Level 1 Youth 13 & Under winner was Exclusively Mocha with Kayla Virga. The Level 1 Youth 14-18 winner was Now Youve Seen Me with Ashlynne McKee.

The Youth winner was Gota Be A Hit with Grace Gasper. The Rookie Amateur Champion was Absolute At The Bar with Katie Blount. The Level 1 Amateur was Fifty Six Kruzer with Hannah Suddeth. The Amateur Champion was Ms Mae Flash with Brandy Baldwin-Bunting. The Select Champion was Dont Need A Mirror with Brenda Howell. The Open winner was Buzzzzn Bout Me with Michelle Warda.
