The Northern Ohio Quarter Horse Spring Extravaganza saw a big increase this year from their 2018 event with a boost of 860 additional entries and a complete stall sell out in February, three months prior to the event. In addition, the Level 1 Extravaganza Show that was held on Monday also saw an increase of 75 entries.

The show took place May 24-26 at the Findlay Western Farm and hosted judges: Danielle Burns, Suzy Jeane, Brad Jewett, and Brad Kearns. The Level 1 Show on Monday was judged by Tammy Braham.

In addition to a full competition schedule, exhibitors also enjoyed an Ice Cream Social on Sunday, bagels on Monday morning, provided by Buckeye Feed, and coffee and doughnuts in the office every morning, along with smiles from friendly show staff with Chris Darnell at the helm of Simply Show Services.

Saddles were donated by the Ohio Quarter Horse Association to the Level 1 Youth and Level 1 Amateur High Point Champions and Schneiders Saddlery supplied Reserve Championship prizes.

Adeline Gabor rode Consider Him Sheik to win the Small Fry High Point. The Reserve Champion was Eleanor Renee Ott with Krymsun N Kool. The Level 1 Youth Champion was Jillian Jefferson with Cowboy Causin Mayhem. The Reserve Champion was Emma Wirtz with Reinvest In Doubles.
