New Dates Announced For 2016 AZ. Sun Circuit, Moved Up Two Weeks Earlier

Although many competitors have just arrived home from the 2015 Arizona Sun Circuit, it’s never too early to start thinking about next year! Recently, show management made the big announcement that the dates for the 2016 event will be moved significantly.
The 2016 Arizona Sun Circuit will be held January 9-17, which is a full two weeks earlier than usual. Still scheduled to be held at WestWorld in Scottsdale, Arizona, the 2016 horse show will now take place prior to the annual Barrett-Jackson Auto Auction that’s also held at the facility.

Of course, the Super Bowl won’t be in town next year, so there won’t be any concerns about battling for hotel reservations. Super Bowl XLIX (50) will be held at the San Fransisco 49er’s new Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. In fact, Show Manager Doug Huls is already hard at work obtaining hotel rates for next year’s event and reports they look to be even better than the reasonable prices enjoyed by competitors this year.
“Overall, the response has been really good, to be honest with you,” Huls says. “[The change] is just due to scheduling at WestWorld. This way, we will be before the Barrett-Jackson Auction, which should free up some of the issues with limitations in the use of the facility.”
