Listen in to learn how a tragic accident changed the course of Lacy’s life and ignited a passion for America’s wild horses.

Award-winning author, trainer, instructor and podcaster Lisa Wysocky announces a new episode of the Celebs with Horses podcast on the Horse Radio Network, now part of the Equine Network family.

In this episode, Lisa talks with legendary Grammy-nominated country, Americana, and western artist, Lacy J. Dalton. A life-long lover of horses, Lacy became enamored of wild horses when she moved to Virginia City, Nevada. In this episode, listeners will discover:

  • The amazing connection Lacy developed with a frightened wild mare
  • How she pushed top corporations to support and embrace the care of wild horses
  • Why the tragic end of one of her favorite horses turned her entire life sideways
  • The special care she went to to ensure one of her riding horses was not pushed out of his comfort zone

“Lacy is definitely not one to sit back and say nothing when she feels passionate about something,” said Wysocky, who hosts the show. “When Lacy felt our wild horses were not being treated appropriately, she founded a nonprofit dedicated to their welfare and pushed major national corporations to support it, which they still do. She is a true horse lover and a tireless go-getter.”
