Morgan Miller is the proud new owner of No Question Im Lazy, aka Jethro, a 2012 AQHA bay gelding by Lazy Loper and out of My Invested Machine.

The gelding, sold to Morgan by Lauren Graves, has a much-celebrated history of World Championship success in numerous events, including Western Pleasure, Trail, and Western Riding.

Morgan, who mainly has shown Hunter Under Saddle and Western Pleasure over her show career, will be partnering with Jethro to begin an all-around career under the guidance of Troy Lehn and Brad Ost of Empyre Show Horses.

“The fact that he is so experienced and has had so much success in the pattern classes was huge for me,” explains Morgan, who is ready to try new events like Western Riding.

“Since I came to Empyre Show Horses a few years ago, Brad and I have talked about how I can’t wait to show the Western Riding one day! I’ve never shown in it before but it has been a class I’ve been dying to learn, as I always love watching it at shows!” Morgan says.

Since Jethro’s talent enabled him to win Western Riding in the past at AQHA Congress and at this year’s NSBA World Championship Show, Morgan says she knows he’s the perfect partner to teach her. “Additionally, I have some great younger western horses coming up that seem like they will be talented in the event, so getting to learn it now on Jethro will hopefully help me to continue to show in it for years to come,” she explains.

Not only is Jethro a multi-talented athlete, Morgan says that Troy often referring to his heart of gold appealed to her.  “I just love that! His personality was huge for me; he is so easy to get along with and he just seems like he always has a lot of try no matter what!”

Troy adds, “Brad and I have followed Jethro’s career from the start and have always loved him! The opportunity to have him under our care and see firsthand how big his heart of gold really is has been really special!”

He also explains the timing for both Lauren Graves and Morgan was perfect.  “When Lauren came to us and said she was ready for a young prospect horse, we had just the person for Jethro in mind. Morgan Miller is an amazing client and has incredible young hunt seat and western horses that are beginning their all-around careers, so Jethro will be the perfect teammate for Morgan to start her all-around adventure! We’re really excited to watch and help Morgan and Jethro build as a team!”

She says her goals with Jethro will be to work on learning as much as she can from him.  “I plan to show him in new events for myself such as Western Riding, Trail, and Horsemanship at all the major shows this year.”

“Jethro is one of a kind,” says Brad Ost. “I’ve loved him since the very first time I saw him and we are so fortunate to have him in our barn. It became even more exciting when Morgan Miller purchased him and he stayed in the barn!  We are looking forward to adding some events for Morgan with him!”

The best of luck to Morgan and No Question Im Lazy as we enter 2023!  We look forward to seeing your all-around career blossom!
