Makeup On Your Collar – Show Clothing Cleaning Tips with Kay Mortensen

Recently, we spotted some of our community members asking about this video from Kay Mortensen Enterprises, formerly Showtime Show Clothing, about cleaning the makeup left on the collar of your show clothes.  While all clothing is different and it’s generally recommended to check with the designer or manufacturer first, we’ve reposted this valuable video from 2019 from Kay!

Tired of that pesky makeup ring around the collar of your beautiful, and expensive, show clothing? Kay Mortensen Enterprises, formerly Showtime Show Clothing, has a classic, easy tip that will help your show clothes look as good as new.

You need three supplies:

#1- Greased Lightning spray

#2- Hot running water

#3- Clean, dish brush

First, soak the area under hot, running water. Then, spray Greased Lightning product on the affected area. Next, use a clean, dish brush to scrub both with and against the grain. Finally, rise off under the hot water again and you’re ready for the show pen!
