Katy Jo Zuidema and Martina Mckride Win Virginia Maiden 3 and Over Western Pleasure

During the recent Tarheel Summer Classic held in Raleigh, NC, The Virginia Maiden 3 and Over Open Western Pleasure presented 22 never-before-shown prospects to judges Terry Cross, Garth Gooding, John Briggs, Danielle Burns, and Jonathan Meilleur in hopes of taking home a big check.
Ultimately, there was a tie for the top spot between Katy Jo Zuidema and Martina Mckride for Robert Roger and Rusty Green with Nothin Butt Nett for Susan Johns. Katy Jo won the tiebreaker and the title, as well as $8,500. Rusty took home the same payout.

Third place was Brian Ale with Son Of A Machine winning $5,500 for Amanda Mehaffey. Tying for fourth was Aaron Moses with Y’all Hashtag This winning $3,250 for Brent and Kate Bamford and Randy Wilson with Hotty Totty winning $3,250 for Chav3z Enterprises.
Sixth place was Karen Hornick with KM BestnTheMoonlite winning $2,000 for Robin Labar. Tying for seventh was Andy Cochran with For What Its Worth, winning $1,450 for Capital Quarter Horse, LLC and Jessica Duffy with Ive Been Mooned, winning $1,450 for Melinda Defreece. Ninth was Jason English with Made In Madison, winning $1,125 for Melanie Parker. Tenth was Dawn Baker with My Best Version, winning $1,000 for Gina Janke.
