The new International Headquarters will reside on the south side of State Fair Park in Oklahoma City. A special ribbon cutting ceremony will take place during the 50th Running of the NRHA Futurity. Spectators and members are encouraged to drive by the new headquarters on Reno Avenue in Oklahoma City to see the progress of this majestic new facility.

Roberts Arena Completes Expansion Becoming Largest Indoor Equine Facility in the US

Six months in the making, the arena expansion to 100,000 square feet of indoor space has led to other additions, which include new LED lighting, renovations to the Lamar Arena, new wash racks added for a total of 15, new premium footing in all arenas and the remodeling of the Café and Grill. The arena has 650 permanent horse stalls and can add 350 temporary ones for larger events.

It is said that Copenhagen valiantly carried the Duke for 16 hours continuously and emerged from the battle without injury. As reward for his exceptional service, Copenhagen was retired to the Duke’s estate, Stratfield Saye House. After the horse passed away, a marble headstone was erected to mark the grave of the Duke’s favorite equine friend.
