NRHA will be selecting four out of the ten riders from social media to participate in this exciting spectator sport! A contest based on popular vote will be held to determine the riders. MacKenzie Chapman of Bellevue, Michigan, took the reins as the 2016–2017 AjPHA President, and she took the opportunity to introduce her presidential project, “We’ve Got Your Number.”

It is far too easy to fudge a horse’s age and/or reputation, which sometimes done very innocently and other times with the intention to conceal. Microchipping will begin the change toward more reliable horse identification, allowing horse owners and buyers to be absolutely sure of a horse’s identity.”

Wills is currently drafting plans to grow the Congress Queens Contest in years to come. Her plans include eventually expanding the contest to each AQHA affiliate association having a representing queen in the Congress competition, stating, “It is important that we keep young women involved in pageantry and the quarter horse industry.”
