The 2018 RODEOHOUSTON entertainment lineup features a mix of country, rock, R&B and Spanish pop artists. Several RODEOHOUSTON favorites, plus six entertainers new to RODEOHOUSTON, will be the first to perform on the new state-of-the-art RODEOHOUSTON stage in 2018.

“My goal in every shoot is to create a timeless portrait that captures the horse’s true essence with a touch of renaissance aesthetic to the images,” he said.

What better way to celebrate your birthday than at a horse show! Well, horses around the world get the opportunity to ring in the New Year and celebrate their birthdays at the exact same time on January 1st each year.

Today’s EC Photo of the Day comes from the Arizona Copper Country Paint-O-Rama that’s currently underway at WestWorld in Scottsdale, Arizona. One of the fun events at the show each year is the Ugly Sweater Contest! This year, there were some spectacular entries!

Congratulations is in order for one of our Equine Chronicle writers, Alison Foster, who was wed to Garrett Green in a beautiful, outdoor ceremony at Zion National Park in Southern Utah on December 2nd. The following photos were shot at a trail overlook by Megan and Nate Kantor of Cedar and Pines Photography. Although the white, wedding dress had to be sacrificed on the trail, the location made for some truly stunning shots!
