Continue reading …The equine industry has lost a valuable proponent. Gilbert Arevalo Sr. of Loranger, Louisiana, passed away at Garden Park Medical Center in Gulfport on June 21 at 62. He was born on December 2, 1957, in Corpus Christi, Texas. Arevalo grew up in Gretna, Louisiana, and graduated from West Jefferson High School. In 1984, he and wife Della moved to the north side of the lake and eventually settled in Loranger with their children.
