For academic scholarship consideration, students must be a member of the AjPHA or APHA for two years, must pass a college entrance examination, provide three letters of reference and submit an essay explaining their educational plans. After they have been granted a scholarship, they must maintain a “B” or better grade-point average to be eligible for renewal.

AQHA to Debut Specialized Ranch Riding Judges

Applicants will be able to test and become certified as a specialized ranch riding judge during the AQHA Educational Judging Seminar December 12-14 in Irving, Texas. A ranch riding educational session and a video testing session will occur during the seminar. Individuals will be approved by the AQHA Judges Committee based on test scores and other criteria.
