AQHA is automatically extending all AQHA memberships for an additional 90 days for areas affected by the wildfires in California. Members will receive a new renewal notice closer to their adjusted expiration date. Members will also receive a new AQHA membership card in the mail within the next few weeks that will reflect their adjusted expiration.

Each beginning level participant receives one free class entry into an AQHA Rookie amateur or Rookie youth class that corresponds with the clinic they participated in. Beginning classes are offered in each of these classes with a belt buckle to the winner of each class. Beginning class entry fees are $25.00 per class plus cattle fees if applicable.

Shawn Flarida Becomes NRHA’s FIRST Six Million Dollar Rider

Flarida’s quest to become NRHA’s first Six Million Dollar Rider became reality during the Lucas Oil Level 4 Open Futurity Finals. With two horses in the competition, his chances of crossing this historic milestone were high. Flarida’s first run on Garry Ray Smith’s Missin My Tinsel (Hollywoodstinseltown x Dont Miss This) scored a 220, earning him 9th place and $22,287.89. George and Carol Bell’s Mr. Masota Star (Wimpys Little Step x Cee Another Masota) was Flarida’s second ride. A score of 222 ½ fell in 3rd place and earned $73,554.10—pushing his earnings just over $6 million.
