Elizabeth is from Sugar Land, Texas, and grew up riding hunter/jumpers. While earning her bachelor’s degree in animal science at Texas A&M University, she competed on the collegiate horse judging team and was president of the TAMU Horseman’s Association. She recently completed her Master of Agriculture in animal science, focusing on equine marketing, and continued to be involved with youth and collegiate horse judging programs through the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension program.

Sponsored by APHA, the National Championships are each four-judge shows offering championship trophies, medallions to first through 10th place, along with additional sponsored prizes, APHA points and national championship titles. Qualifying is not required.

The AQHA Horseback Riding Program, sponsored by SmartPak, rewards AQHA and AQHYA members for the time they spend in the saddle or doing groundwork with their horses. With two divisions available, the AQHA Horseback Riding Program recognizes people riding American Quarter Horses and all other breeds. No matter your skill level, background or age, you can participate in the AQHA Horseback Riding Program.

The annually awarded AjPHA Youth Member of the Year, Youth Club of the Year and From the Heart Award contests honor outstanding AjPHA participants. The contests are judged on community participation, leadership, promotion of the American Paint Horse and more, and these prestigious awards help recognize the hard work and dedication of AjPHA members. e) DUNALINO: Body coat shades of tan from very light to very dark gold color with white or frosted mane and tail. Points, dorsal stripe, zebra stripes and other dun factor markings may be black or brown. The dorsal stripe must run the entire length of the topline.

Are you a Level 1 Amateur or Level 1 Youth? The Gold & Gulf Coast shows have waived the requirement for you to file a permit to show someone else’s horse in the L1 Am/Youth classes. Keep in mind, you must be eligible to compete in the class.

The National Snaffle Bit Association looks forward to working with these exceptional individuals as they lay the foundation for their businesses and their futures within the equine industry. With a focus on business skills such as budgeting, customer relations, marketing, and planning for long-term financial stability, participants will have the opportunity to learn from industry leaders in these fields throughout the two-year program. The first session of the Tomorrows Horsemen program will meet February 10th – 12th, 2020 in Las Colinas, Texas.
