A new exciting division is being added to the Platinum Breeders’ Futurity for the 2020 APHA World Show in September. Starting this year, yearling horses are now eligible to compete for big payouts in APHA’s Platinum Breeders’ Futurity classes.

“I have produced over 3,500 sporting events in my career, from the PBR to the Indy 500,” said Bernard. “I have been to the Super Bowl and to the Final Four, and yet I have never seen an event that consistently gets more exciting every year like The American.”

APHA is seeking applicants for multiple internship opportunities in Fort Worth, Texas, during the summer and fall semesters—there’s even flexible, year-round opportunities available! Our interns learn the ins and outs of working at a breed association and gain valuable experience for their resumés, while also forming connections with industry professionals and making a difference in the world they love.

“The National Open Horse Show Association’s mission is to foster growth in the open horse show community connecting the open show community in a way that inspires them to continue pursue their hobby of showing horses,” said Stephanie Lynn, NSBA Executive Director. “The purpose of the organization aligns with NSBA’s goals to continue to develop interest in the show horse industry. It is a natural partnership and we are excited about the relationship.”

Celebrating 25 years in 2019, the Breeders’ Trust continues to generate payouts to all of those who play a factor in the life of a foal; the stallion subscriber, breeder, and owner. In 2019, the Breeders’ Trust paid out more than $428,000 to participants, with a per-point value of $7.36. Keep an eye on your mailbox for your Breeders’ Trust check—they were mailed March 3.
