Blog #2- Live at AQHA L1 Championships OKC With Austin, Dailey, and Caroline

This morning, Austin and Dailey showed in Youth Performance Halter Mares. Austin won Reserve Champion with his horse, AFancyRodder and received a silver trophy. Dailey placed 7th with her horse, Better B Good To Me and receiving a ribbon. They celebrated their wins by enjoying a sweet treat from the Sweet Shop!
Afterwards, we went and watched Showmanship this morning and were impressed by how tough the competition was. Sidney More and her horse Sudenlee Single won the Novice 14-18 Showmanship. We were very impressed with her pattern and how elegant it was.

We also watched Evie Doles win 13 and Under Showmanship. After watching, we cleaned our show saddles to help us prepare for Western Pleasure and Horsemanship. Then, we took a break from all the excitement and went to lunch at Panda Express. Check out our fortune cookie predictions!
After lunch, it was back to getting prepared for the show by riding in both of the show pens when the show concludes for the day. For Austin and Caroline, it is their first Novice Championships. For Dailey this is her second. Our goals are to have great rides, patterns, and lots of fun.
