Jamie Billings-Richardson of Billings Quarter Horses is pleased to announce the purchase of Champion HotForYourHonor from Powderbrook Farm.

“My family and I have been searching for quite a while looking for my Amateur Hunter Under Saddle horse and a good friend of mine Kara Carpenter (who ironically used to own him) told me he was for sale!” explains Jamie.  “I have seen him show numerous times and absolutely loved everything about him. His canter is breathtaking! He is an overall ideal Hunter Under Saddle horse. He has all the gears and lots of ring presence.”

HotForYourHonor, aka Quincy, made a name for himself with previous owners Pamela and Lauren Raad, as well as riders like Jessica Noiseux and Keith Miller by earning multiple titles at the majors in Hunter Under Saddle at AQHA World, Congress, and NSBA World, as well as winning the Hunter Under Saddle at the majors for Lauren Raad.

Gene Spagnola with Powerbrook Farm says Quincy has always been a special horse for them and he’s very happy Jamie bought him.  He explains, “We bought him in May and that year at the Congress, he won three classes and was Reserve in another class, he won the NSBA World, and was 3rd at the Youth World.  We’d like to thank a few people who were instrumental in his career: Jessica and Ricky Noiseux, Keith Miller, Nancy Sue Ryan, and Pam and Lauren Raad.  I wish Jamie all the luck with HotForYourHonor.”

Jamie plans to show Quincy in the Amateur Hunter Under Saddle at all the major shows, besides letting him enjoy time out in the field on their farm and living the good life while being a show horse.  She adds, “Jessica Noiseux of Noiseux Show Horses will be showing him in the Open events at all the major shows. She previously won the AQHA World Show and All American Quarter Horse Congress on him in the Hunter Under Saddle! So they will be teaming back up and we are very excited for it.”

Moonlit Melania

She says they want to thank Gene Spagnola with Powderbrook Farm and the Raad Family for making Quincy available for them.  Jamie explains, “They have been so enjoyable and helpful to work with. I will also be showing our homegrown mare from our breeding program, Moonlit Melania, in the Western Pleasure events under the guidance of Aaron Moses.”

Good luck and best wishes to Jamie Billings-sRichardson and HotForYourHonor!
