The Michigan Quarter Horse Association just wrapped up the MQHA Harbor Classic at the Mason Co. Fairgrounds in Ludington, MI. The show, held July 1 – 6, 2025, offered perks like NSBA Dual approved classes, and flat fees including unlimited classes for exhibitors.
The July 1-3 judges were Brett Clark, Jennifer Goss, and Patrick Kayser, and the July 3 – 6 judges were Rick Baker, Andrea Simons, and Dan Trein.
However, even more importantly, the MQHA Harbor Classic put a focus on the future this year with a growing group of Small Fry and Leadliners by hosting several events throughout the week and a half, explains MQHA exhibitor Minae Kroeze, thanks to sponsors NBV Performance Horses, Infinity Pleasure Horses and the Hirshman family.
The events included a water balloon fight, DIY American Flag Tshirts, a glow parade, and a boxcar drive-in movie night! “The sold out show was a big success with other fun events such as a Trainers Horsemanship and the annual dog race!” says Minae.
