The Oregon Summer Classic kicked off June 20th and treated AQHA competitors to four full days of competition with eight judges officiating. The judges’ pool included Brendan Brown, Terry Cross, Brad Jewett, Kendra Weis, Buddy Fisher, Doug Huls, Lyle Jackson, Chele McGauly, Jeff Greaves, Michael Ochetto, Bruce Walquist, Carla Wennberg, Steve Brown, Debra Jones-Wright, Tom McBeath, and Sam Rose.
Some of the largest class sizes were seen in the youth leveled events.

In addition to complimentary pizza stall delivery, text message show updates, BBQ with musical entertainment, off-day competition activities like jet boating, river fishing, zip lining, and wine tasting, and The Equine Chronicle Exhibitors’ Party, there was a special social event that helped to raise some much needed funds for the Oregon Quarter Horse Youth Association. The All American Hoppy Horse Relay raised more than $4,700 for the youth association to support leadership development, the World Show team, and scholarships!
