Angie and Charles Cannizarro are a team. They each have their strengths and individual talents, and together they have built one of the leading futurity-focused businesses in the western pleasure industry.

A native of Louisiana, Charles grew up riding through the ranks of 4-H, open shows, and eventually AQHA shows. As a young amateur, Charles owned and self-trained his horses.

About 17 years ago, he traveled to Pine Bluff, Arkansas to attend a weekend Quarter Horse show. There, he met a young woman named Angie who was in a similar training business and showing her own horses as an amateur. They connected over a two-year-old Angie was riding, and a friendship was formed.

“The rest is history,” as people generally say. Charles and Angie fell in love, married, and knew that horses were at the center of their future. They continued for a time as do-it-yourself amateurs. However, they soon realized that having access to the best horses in the industry ultimately leads to the best opportunities in the show pen.

So, they joined the professional ranks, and they named their business CAC Show Horses.
