A generational talent like Cleve Wells needs no introduction. His name is synonymous with Western Pleasure dominance for over three decades as the trainer of 21 AQHA World and Reserve World Champions and 26 Congress Champions.
He has worked with celebrated stallions such as Zips Chocolate Chip, Radical Rodder, Hotroddin Zippo, and Chips Hot Chocolate, as well as multiple World Champions like Zippos Amblin Easy, One Red Hot Zip, and Mr Magnolia Zip.
But he’s never invested in a stallion of his own, that is, until now. It had to be a very special horse indeed to bring Wells out of semi-retirement.
“I have it all in my head, but it might not flow out through my body like it used to now that I’m 64,” Wells laughs. “I’ve had shoulder, neck, and foot surgery and didn’t want to give what’s left of me to a horse, so I decided to tip my hat and bow out. Then this horse came along…”
The horse is Millionaire Machine, a 2020, 15.2 hand, sorrel stallion by Machine Made and out of Amblin So Good. He’s pretty, great-minded, and has natural self-carriage, but there’s something unique that sets this horse apart.
It’s the unparalleled depth of his regal bloodline.
