Sycamore, Illinois: For Immediate Release
Willow Creek Farm, located in Sycamore, Illinois, recently hosted its fifth annual Student Horse Show, celebrating another record-breaking year for the growing lesson program and its riders.Proudly owned and operated by Chayna DeNicolo-Petrocci, and her husband, Lucas Petrocci, alongside their 4 year old son, Rocco.
Willow Creek Farm is a boarding and lesson facility dedicated to preserving the love of horses and creating meaningful opportunities for the next generation of equestrians.
Willow Creek Farm proudly boards show & and retired show horses while providing approximately 60 riding lessons each week to the public. What began as a lesson program has grown into a comprehensive Riding Academy, complete with a structured curriculum and clear achievement pathways.
This year’s Student Horse Show was another tremendous success and the largest in the event’s history. Featuring in-house riders competing on the farm’s lesson horses, the show provided students with an opportunity to experience the excitement of competition in a supportive, encouraging environment. The event also included the presentation of two educational scholarships, further demonstrating the farm’s commitment to investing in its students and their futures.
As an AQHA Amateur member, Chayna is incredibly passionate about giving back to an industry that has given her so much. She believes that creating opportunities for people to learn about horses, develop their skills, build confidence, and experience the special connections that come with horsemanship is essential to preserving the industry for generations to come. That mission is reflected in every part of Willow Creek Farm, from its structured lesson curriculum to the exceptional team behind the program.
From the stable manager to the talented riding instructors, it is the combined talent, hard work, and shared passion of the entire team that makes Willow Creek Farm so special. Providing quality, safe, and exceptional instruction is a collective effort, and Chayna is quick to recognize the people who help bring her vision to life each day. She is equally grateful for the sponsors and community supporters who helped make this year’s Student Horse Show such a tremendous success.
“It’s truly my dream job. I love being able to oversee our boarding operation while directing our riding program. I love to meet & welcome new families into the world of horses. We have a wonderful group of horses, riders of all ages who absolutely love them, and a program that continues to grow and evolve. I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built together, and I hope we’re able to share this with our community for many, many years to come.”
