November 13-16, 2025, marked the Arizona Paint Horse Club Harvest of Color, at WestWorld of Scottsdale. The club offered two shows with four judges over four days – Show One hosted judges Melissa Dukes and Cindy Weight-Carter, and Show Two hosted judges Sherry Haynes and Delena Doyle.
The APHA classes and All Breed classes were a hit, as were the large ranch classes and great selection of prizes.
The active youth club, the Arizona Junior Paint Horse Club, made sure exhibitors had fun, as well as a chance for competition combined with camaraderie! First up on their event schedule was Champagne Showmanship, a free, fun class in which exhibitors held a glass of bubbly apple cider while performing various showmanship maneuvers that were called out at random – that included an out of the box maneuver of jumping up and down! The adult division and the youth division participants with the most cider left in their cups won!
On the last day of the show, their fundraiser was held in the form of a English Disciplined Rail buckle class, with four buckles awarded, sponsored by Carla Cline Show Horses and “Hey! Support your local pump guy!”
