The name is rooted in the deep history the show has as a top AQHA show and is owned by the Oregon Quarter Horse Association – the State of Oregon affiliate of the American Quarter Horse Association. The OQHA Board of Directors is reviewing the year-end award requirements to ensure that our membership is able to qualify for year-end awards. The verbiage of the requirements is under review to ensure that it allows for qualification. Award qualification for circuit awards at the Oregon Summer Classic shall remain as is from years prior. The QHEAC Summer Show is a pre-show and not included in award qualification for circuit awards.
