This first weekend of equine competition was the kickoff to the Dixie Nationals Livestock Show and Rodeo that will continue through Sunday, February 18th.

The SMU Mustangs drop down to No. 3 this week after a loss to an unranked South Carolina squad last Saturday, February 3rd. That year, Bill was set to receive his first WQHA award for being named the High Point Novice Amateur Western Pleasure exhibitor. Instead, Bill’s family graciously asked that the Reserve Champion, Darrel Holman, be presented with the award that year.
