Every year on Labor Day, many friends and fans of horses and horse people gather at the Fallen Horseman Memorial Horse Show to pay tribute to people who left special hoof prints in our hearts. Mothers, vets, farriers, judges, and trainers… sponsorships are gathered in honor of these people and the funds are then paid forward to exhibitors in the form of prizes and random drawings. In 2015, the show paid nearly $12,000 in purse money.

Some added perks to hosting the sale online include a reduced consignment fee of $150, reduced commission, reduced stress of travel and plenty of exposure for your consignment. There will be a 7% commission, 5% buyer’s premium, and no, no-sale fee for this year’s sale. In addition, buyers from various geographical locations will have the ability to bid from the comfort of their own home!

“We drew in some extra exhibitors who might not have come otherwise,” Show Committee Chair Colleen Dubsky said. “The structure of the championship was nice because we gave buckles in every division. The best part of it was when the kids won the buckles. They were so excited—although the adults did like them, too!”
