As you will read below, the APHA Superior Amateur Champion title has only been earned five times previously in the association, which has registered more than one million horses.

To prepare for the show, students learned about the role the American Quarter Horse played in the history of the United States. Each student then created artwork that depicted those lessons, along with an essay describing the art.

“I am just so very excited, honored, and thrilled to have Bailey, the nation’s top horsemanship recruit, join our horsemanship team,” Associate Head Coach Mary Meneely said.

The National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) hosts the Adequan North American Affiliate Championships each year during the NRHA Futurity in Oklahoma City. The championships are for NRHA members and horses that have qualified through their respective Regional Affiliate Finals.

Each finals sends its eight highest placing riders, plus ties, to the Adequan NAAC to compete for North American bragging rights. NRHA congratulates the following champions that already have been crowned during the show.
