International Polo Federation President James Ashton Dies in a Fall

The Interim President of the International Polo Federation, James Ashton, died Feb. 14 after a fall during a polo match in Thailand. He had recently taken over following the resignation of former FIP President Patrick Guerrand-Hermes in December.

After sustaining serious injuries Ashton was rushed to a nearby hospital, but passed away soon after his arrival.
