"The initial test results were horrific- a skull fracture, massive brain trauma to the right front lobe of the brain, and extreme pressure on the brain. Then, there were more tests and more disheartening results. The right rear lobe of her brain also showed extreme damage. The picture painted for Keeley’s future was bleak. It was likely she would never walk, talk, reason, or respond. This barrage of bad news hit her parents, offering little to no hope that their daughter would ever be a normal teenager again."
