Where in the world can you take a moonlit ride in a gondola down a winding Venice canal, gamble with the high rollers in a Palace, and take an elevator from your room right down to the show grounds? At the 34th annual Las Vegas Silver Dollar Circuit March 17-21, you can do all of this and more.
The featured location for this year’s Silver Dollar Circuit, is the renowned South Point Equestrian Center on Las Vegas Boulevard South. The center is advertised as being “a unique experience in horse showing,” and anyone who has been to South Point would have to agree.
Besides the full-service casino and five-star restaurants, South Point’s internal hotel allows exhibitors the luxury to step out of their room and right into the indoor arena. Not to mention, if you have any free time when you aren’t showing, you can book an appointment at the Spa Costa Del Sur, rack up a few lanes in the bowling alley, or catch the latest flick in their movie theater.
The judges for this year’s show are Jeff Allen, David Dellin, Murray Griggs and Bruce Walquist. The show boasts of a full slate of AQHA and NSBA classes, as well as a few featured Southern Belle Breeders’ classes offering guaranteed added money.
