Diesel Prices on the Rise

According to the Gasoline and Fuel Update released by the U.S. Energy Information Administration, diesel fuel prices are up.

When compared to this time last year, the rate of increase is approximately 50 to 60 cents per gallon.

Regional Diesel Fuel Prices are available below. (1/18/10)

U.S – $ 2.870    up .574 from one year ago

East Coast- $ 2.923    up .546 from one year ago

Midwest-  $ 2.834    up .570 from one year ago

Gulf Coast-  $ 2.831    up .604 from one year ago

Rocky Mountain-  $ 2.827    up from .578 from one year ago

West Coast: $ 2.947    up from .609 from one year ago
