Hi everyone, We had our first venue on Monday. It was the Ski Jumping Team competition. Multiple World Champions Charlie Cole and Jason Martin were up front and center at the bottom of the hill – which is the best seat for ski jumping!

The behind the scene jibbing was that the USA and Canadian teams knew they would not be in the running for a medal, but they had an inside competion between themselves as to which team would finish ahead at the end of the day. The Canadians are the most friendly people I have ever been around. Vancouver has given us a very warm welcome.

The night was topped off with Wayne Gretzky, “The Great One,” sitting at the table next to ours at dinner!
