If you were to ask people what Super Bowl commercials topped their list of all-time favorites, you would more than likely get quite a few responses that feature the infamous Budweiser Clydesdales.
So why then is Anheuser-Busch planning on running two different Budweiser spots at the Super Bowl XLIV without the horses?
The company explained that in consumer testing, the other spots that didn’t feature the horses received higher ratings than the spot that did. However, with the Super Bowl fast approaching, a slew of news articles and opinion pieces across the nation have prompted advertising executives to take a second look.
Therefore, Anheuser-Busch is asking your help in choosing which commercial will air at the Super Bowl. You can go to Budweiser’s page on Facebook to choose among a spot featuring the Clydesdales and two spots without the horses, one called “Payment” and a third called “Attention.”
The company said that the results of the consumer vote will “help decide,” which commercial will run in the Super Bowl. But don’t waste anytime, there are only a few days left before the big game.
